Product Specifications

Berkley’s patented Gulp! Series of fishing baits are a great addition to any anglers box that has problems getting a good hookset on the fish or pulling the lure out of the fish’s mouth.  The technology that goes into each container of Gulp! Alive baits makes them soft and supple, and saturated in fish attracting fluids.  During field tests Berkley’s Gulp! Alive baits have been proven to be up to 20% more effective than traditional scented baits, and even more effective than unscented baits.  Because of the proprietary scents used on each bait the fish will hold onto the lure much longer, giving you ample amounts of time to set the hook.  The small Fish Fry baits are one of the best alternatives to live baits when your favorite species are chasing smaller baitfish and predator fish fry.

What I Think

There are quite a few times when you will be on the water and notice that your favorite species are feeding on small fish fry in a big way.  Right after different species spawn out their small fry are in a bad position and the bigger predatory fish know it.  Unless you’ve got a fly rod or some type of bait that is small enough to mimic the small fry you are going to be coming up short on the amount of fish you catch.  This is where Berkley’s Gulp! Alive Fish Fry soft plastics come to your aid.  The scent combined with the lifelike profile and action makes them irresistible to predatory fish when they are keying in on small fry.
