Product Specifications

For over 50 years the original FlatFish has been around catching fish in every type of water from small streams and rivers, to large lakes and even saltwater estuaries.  The one-of-a-kind swimming action and ultralight design is more versatile than any other crankbait on the market. The smaller, ultralight F sizes, from F2 through F6 dive between 1/2ft and 2ft deep, depending on how fast you troll them, retrieve them, or how fast the river current is moving.  Each lure comes in a standard super-sharp treble hook design, but is also available in single hook designs for anglers who prefer slightly more action to their lures.

Colors Available

Worden’s Lures Original Flatfish Crankbaits are available in over 100 different color combinations.  While it may make it hard for you to choose the perfect colors for your local waters, you want to think about the old term “match the hatch”.  Basically, you want to make sure that the colors you choose are replications of the types of baitfish and other forage species that are in the waters that you will be fishing on when you head out.

How To Work Worden’s Original Flatfish Crankbaits

Worden’s Original Flatfish Crankbaits are meant to be casted and cranked.  You can troll them at slower speeds if you’re unable to find structure or where the fish are lying in wait, but once you locate what you’re looking for you will need to step back and slow down your retrieve.  Cast the lure over the piece of structure or cover and slowly work it back to you, without trying to impart too much action into it.
