Product Specifications

The Syclops spoon from Mepps is considered a legendary lure among fishermen who have used them.  The size 0, ¼ ounce ultralight models are perfect for light lines.  The design of the Syclops helps them produce a very distinct wiggle when they are retrieved or jigged in front of a fish, helping to set them apart from other baitfish in the area and get your larger gamefish to readily accept them over other styles of lures.  Each Syclops spoon also features a red eye on the front of the lure, just behind the hookeye, that will work to entice fish to bite even when they are tight lipped, and in a neutral mood.

Colors Available

There are 4 main, proven color combinations that the Syclops are available in.  You can get them in the standard Gold and Nickel plated no decal designs, or in a Gold or Chrome model that features the Mepps Syclops name along with fish scale designs that provides slightly more color for when the gamefish aren’t quite as turned on by the standard no decal designs.

How To Work Syclops Spoons

Mepps Syclops spoons are perfect when you are using them in the saltwater or flows.  The design helps you cast them over long distances while the red eyes and decals help set them apart from other baitfish in pods that you may be casting over.  If you find areas of underwater cover you can drop the lure down to the right depth and start jigging it above the structure to entice fish that may be suspended and in a neutral mood.
