Product Specifications

Acme’s Kastmaster Spoons are some of the world’s best-known metal spoons.  The Kastmaster is able to catch fish anywhere that fish swim.  The design allows you to cast it incredibly far and work it back to you with a side-to-side kicking motion that closely mimics a baitfish.  Each Kastmaster spoon features a super sharp treble hook design with some models including a bucktail teaser that undulates under the water’s surface to help entice strikes from fish that aren’t completely interested in the plain spoon model.

Colors Available

The Kastmaster spoons are available in 4 main colors.  The classic Chrome and Gold models are great near feeding fish while the Chrome/Neon Blue, and Chrome/Neon Green models are closer replications of smaller baitfish that bigger gamefish may be busting at the time.

How To Work Acme Kastmaster Spoons

Working a Kastmaster spoon comes down to what the fish are reacting to when you’re out on the water.  If you notice the gamefish busting smaller baitfish you can cast to the edges of the baitfish pod and begin to work the spoon back to you.  The side-to-side wobble action of the spool will help set it apart from the other baitfish in the area.

If the bigger gamefish aren’t targeting pods of baitfish, though, you can also cast the Kastmaster out and jig it back to you in an up-and-down yo-yo motion.  Drag the spoon past feeding fish and you’ll easily be able to get them to take the lure right off the bottom.  With the treble design you are going to want to be careful fishing along the bottom.
