Product Specifications

Each St. Croix Premier spinning rod is designed with outstanding strength, sensitivity, and hook-setting power in mind.  The finely tuned actions and tapers provide superior performance over other rods in the same price range.  Batson Forecast hard aluminum oxide guides feature double plated black chrome frames for increased elegance, and the ability to transmit light bites down the line to the Fuji DPS reel seat.  A premium grade cork handle fits perfectly into your hand while the two coats of Flex Coat slow cure finish help ensure the rod will stand up to nicks and cuts in the blank, helping to prevent it from breaking.

What I Think

When you want to travel light, you want a St. Croix Premier ultralight rod.  The premium SCII graphite blanks provide you with the highest levels of sensitivity whether you are casting live bait, or artificial lures.  The rods come in lengths ranging from 4’6” models for tight streams, up to 7’0” models for incredible casting distances.  Both 1-piece and 2-piece models are designed to last a long time, and if you ever have problems you can fall back on St. Croix’s 5 year warranty.  Each rod is handcrafted in the United States to St. Croix’s high level of quality control.

Every angler wants a rod that is going to last a long time, and perform flawlessly each time they head out to the water.  This is good, because the St. Croix Premier line of ultralight rods does exactly that – gives you effortless performance in a highly durable rod.
